El Roi — The God Who Sees Me

You are seen.
You are valued.
There is hope.

Christ-centered encouragement and help finding recovery resources for women facing addiction or crisis. A listening ear today. A vision for a home tomorrow.

Our residential home is being developed. Encouragement, resource referrals, and speaking engagements are available now.
The vision of Seen Ministries

Support for today.
A home for tomorrow.

Taking the next step can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Seen Ministries offers encouragement and help connecting with programs and community resources for women struggling with addiction, navigating recovery, or experiencing a life crisis.

We are working toward establishing a residential home that welcomes women coming from incarceration, homelessness, and other difficult circumstances with compassion, dignity, and hope.

When another program better fits a woman’s needs, we aim to help her connect with recovery programs and community resources.

The heart behind our name

Seen in the wilderness.

In Genesis 16, Hagar was pregnant and fled after being mistreated by Sarai. In the wilderness, the angel of the Lord found her near a spring and told her that the Lord had heard her affliction.

Hagar called Him El Roi—the God who sees me. Her story inspires our desire to remind women that their pain is seen, their lives matter, and they are not forgotten by God.

“You are the God who sees me.”
